9:19a Meme Friday Post ten of any pictures currently on your hard drive that you think are self-expressive. NO CAPTIONS!!! It must be like we're speaking with images and we have to interpret your visual language just like we have to interpret your words. They must ALREADY be on your hard drive - no googling or flickr! They have to have been saved to your folders sometime in the past. They must be something you've saved there because it resonated with you for some reason. You do NOT have to answer any questions about any of your pictures if you don't want to. You can make them as mysterious as you like. Or you can explain them away as much as you like. I'm sort of copping out and just using pictures I have saved on my thumb drive as that is the one constant between the four computers I use on a regular basis. Big pics under the cut. 9:41p Office floor is cleaned. Invoicing is done. Most of my business tasks are done. I feel good. I reread an old story I had been working on and I AM CRINGING! Augh! So horrible but there is a kernel of an interesting story in there I can salvage. I am also an asshole because I named one of the characters, 'Centzonuitznauachalchiuhtlatonal'. XD I may keep that. Man, I wanted to take a walk but it's too late in the evening now. Gots to take my bath and get ready for bed. Goal!fail... but I did get a good walk in this afternoon so maybe that will even out.

8:57a Linkery and babble What you need to know about bribery. - Useful resources for writers. Found on the little_details comm on LJ. I loooove articles like this! I have a copy of a book specifically about the etiquette of the seedier things in life. I tend to suck in those sort of situations but even I have successfully bribed someone before. XD Speaking of Dark Arts for Good Guys I never did sign up for shooting lessons. That will be a goal before the end of the year. As much as I abhor getting into fights or the thought of actually killing someone the experience of handling a handgun (I have used rifles before) could be useful to me when I write. ---------
